Our Playground

Our play space has been transforming over time, with the help and input from our children. Nature is not something that happens instantly, and in today’s world – children need to see that not everything happens overnight, and that with planning, design and hard work – we can pull off some amazing projects together – that they want!

The playground was pretty horrible when we opened and we have spent the first few months watching the weather and where the sun and shade is, where the water gathers in rain and how the children interact with the space.

We have built an amazing chicken coop that the children are completely in control of, aswell as lots of new grass, a mud patch, a log/ tyre/ and rock climbing playground and a loose parts play and deck for our youngest children!

We will continue to work with children on the design of play spaces but also implementing permaculture principles throughout our activities.
